Private Lessons

One-on-One Somatic Assessment & Instruction

If you’ve been struggling with chronic pain, a recurring injury, or a postural pattern you just can’t seem to break, you’re not alone.
Private lessons offer a safe, supportive space to explore what’s happening in your body and help you finally uncover the root cause of your tension and discomfort.

These Somatic Movement private lessons are designed for those ready to go deeper — to understand how their brain, muscles, and nervous system work together, and to learn how to release chronic tension naturally.

  • $120 for Initial 90-Minute Lesson

  • $90 for Regular 60-Minute Lessons

What a Private Somatic Lesson Involves

Each one-on-one somatic lesson is customized to your unique needs and goals. Together, we’ll identify patterns of muscular tension and re-educate your nervous system through slow, mindful movement.

You can expect:

  • A thorough assessment, including a complete health and movement history

  • Discussion of your current pain, goals, and physical habits

  • Identification of dominant tension patterns that may be contributing to your symptoms

  • Guided movements that retrain your brain’s control over tight muscles

  • Integration tools to help new sensations and movement patterns become second nature

  • Take-home resources and continued support between lessons to ensure your success

In-Person Lessons (Calgary)

In-person lessons take place at Co-Share Wellness in the Mission neighborhood of Calgary.

Each lesson takes place on a wide, cushioned mat (or table if needed), with movement done seated, standing, or lying down.

Students remain fully clothed, and the practice involves minimal touch — it’s about you learning to sense, move, and release from within.

Virtual Somatic Lessons (Across Canada)

If you’re not located in Calgary, virtual Somatic Movement Education (SME) lessons are available to clients anywhere in Canada.

These lessons are conducted live over Zoom, with the same level of personalized guidance and feedback.

Just like in-person work, we’ll begin with an initial assessment and aim for weekly lessons in the first few weeks.

If possible, I recommend attending your first lesson in-person — it allows me to observe your movement patterns more closely, leading to a more tailored and effective experience.

Please note: If you have the ability to come in-person for your initial lesson but can only do virtual follow up lesson, although not mandatory, this option is preferred to working completely online. Having you in the room with me for our first meeting gives me access to more information about your body and improves the likelihood of successful outcome.

When you’re ready, you can fill out this form to begin.

If you're interested in working one-on-one, or want to discuss any questions, feel free to book a free 15 minute consultation.
